San Antonio, Texas (February 24, 2019) – The motorcyclist who was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday afternoon at an intersection in San Antonio has been identified as Yvette Solitaire, 44, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident was reported at around 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23 on Culebra Road and Pipers Road.
According to police, a white KIA Sorrento was stopped at Pipers Creek and turned onto Culebra Road when the driver saw a Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Solitaire, who was traveling on Culebra Road with another person in the second lane.
The female driver of the KIA continued to make the turn because stopping would have caused a collision with both motorcycles. Authorities said a vehicle in the third lane was blocking the view of the motorcycles in the second lane.

Solitaire was transported to University Hospital in critical condition, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
No other details were immediately provided.
