1 Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 6 in Houston

One Killed in Houston Motorcycle Crash on Highway 6 near Piping Rock Lane

Houston, Texas (February 10, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night in a traffic accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred around 8:45 p.m., February 9, on Highway 6 near Piping Rock Lane.

Police said a motorcycle was traveling southbound on the highway when it crashed into a car that was pulling out of a private driveway.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, where they later died. Their identity has not been released.

The car driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. They were not intoxicated at the time of the crash.

During the investigation, a red Jeep Renegade drove through the scene and hit a police cruiser. Officers pursued the Jeep, but it eluded them. The Jeep has damage to the front left.
