1 Injured in Rollover Crash on I-27 in Amarillo

One Injured in Amarillo Three-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 27

Amarillo, Texas (September 3, 2023) – One person was injured Saturday afternoon in a rollover crash in Amarillo, according to officials.

The crash happened around 1:15 p.m., September 2, on Northbound I-27 between Sundown Lane and McCormick Road.

Officials said a pickup hauling a trailer was heading northbound when it changed lanes and sideswiped another vehicle.

The truck lost control, rolled over into the median, and was struck by a southbound vehicle.

The driver of the southbound vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
