1 Injured in 4-Vehicle Crash on Highway 84 in McLennan County

One Injured in McLennan County Four-Vehicle Crash on Highway 84 near Boys Ranch Road

McLennan County, Texas (June 22, 2022) – One person was injured Wednesday morning in a four-vehicle crash in McLennan County, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened around 8:00 a.m., on Highway 84 westbound near Boys Ranch Road, east of Bellmead.

DPS said a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound on the highway, and traffic had slowed down due to construction.

The Silverado attempted to drive between the slow-moving vehicles but crashed into three of them.

The Silverado driver was taken to Baylor Scott and White in Waco with non-life-threatening injuries. 

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
