1 Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on US 59 in San Jacinto County

One Injured in San Jacinto County Three-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 59 near Trinity River Bridge

San Jacinto County, Texas – One person was injured Monday morning in a three-vehicle crash in San Jacinto County, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened around 8:20 a.m., January 15, on U.S. Highway 59 South, on the Trinity River Bridge.

DPS said a Toyota Tundra and a Volkswagen Beetle were traveling southbound when the Toyota lost control and was hit by a Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer, which then hit the Volkswagen.

The Toyota driver was taken to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
