One Injured in Missouri City Train Crash at Cravens near Highway 90

Missouri City, Texas (December 4, 2023) – According to the authorities, one person was injured Monday morning in a train crash in Missouri City.

The crash happened around 7:14 a.m., at Cravens near Highway 90.

Authorities said a tractor-trailer had reportedly stopped on the railroad tracks when it was struck by an oncoming train.

The train engineer was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The tractor-trailer driver was uninjured in the crash.

The intersections of Cravens and Highway 90 and South Gessner and Highway 90 were closed following the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
