1 Critically Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 73 in Port Arthur

Driver Critically Injured in Port Arthur Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 73

Port Arthur, Texas (June 10, 2022) – A driver was critically injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Port Arthur, according to the police.

The crash happened just after 7:00 a.m., on June 9, in the 2200 block of W State Highway 73.

Police said a passenger car rear-ended an 18-wheeler on the highway.

A driver was critically injured in the crash.

The crash closed the highway from Winnie to West Port Arthur Road for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
