1 Injured in Train-Tanker Truck Crash at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio 

One Injured in Del Rio Train-Tanker Truck Crash at Laughlin Air Force Base on US 90

Del Rio, Texas (November 17, 2021) – One person was injured Monday morning after a train and a tanker truck collided in Del Rio, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 7:00 a.m., November 15, in front of Laughlin Air Force Base North gate, off US Highway 90.

According to the report, a tanker truck, which was filled with jet fuel that was being delivered to the base, collided with a train.

The collision caused an explosion.

The driver of the tanker truck was taken to the Val Verde Regional Medical Center for back and leg pains.

An investigation is underway.
