One Killed and One Injured in Horseshoe Bay Two-Vehicle Crash on Texas 71 near Twisted Oak Drive

Horseshoe Bay, Texas (November 29, 2023) – One person was killed and another was injured on Monday in a two-vehicle crash in Horseshoe Bay, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 7:00 p.m., November 27, on Texas 71 near Twisted Oak Drive.

Authorities said a pickup truck was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane when it crashed head-on into an SUV.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was airlifted to Dell Seton Hospital in Austin for treatment.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
