Houston, Texas – One person was killed and two others were injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 8:00 a.m., April 1, at the intersection of East Sunnyside Street and Fulton Street.

Police said a gray Dodge Charger was leaving a stop sign, heading westbound on East Sunnyside Street. As it entered the intersection, it was struck by a gold Honda Odyssey van that was traveling northbound on Fulton.

The female driver of the Honda was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her name has not been released. A 17-year-old female passenger in the Honda was also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The female driver of the Charger was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
