Tyler Woman Teresa Campos Killed in Smith County Pedestrian Crash on Highway 155

Tyler, Texas (March 26, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Smith County late Saturday night, according to the DPS.
The accident happened just before 11:29 p.m. March 23, on Highway 155, just south of Tyler.
DPS said Teresa Campos, 27, of Tyler, was hit by a 2009 Toyota Corolla that was driven northbound on Highway 155 by Willie Hayter, 71, of Tyler.
Campos was was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
