Man Killed in SW Houston U-Haul Crash on Bissonnet Street

Houston, Texas (July 17, 2020) – A man was killed on Thursday in a U-Haul crash in southwest Houston, according to police.

The fatal crash occurred on July 16, in the 7100 block of Bissonnet Street.

Police said the man was involved in a hit-and-run crash, and he fled in a U-Haul truck. He was driving faster than 70 mph when he crashed into the back of a truck.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The truck driver was uninjured in the crash. 

No other details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
