Me Thi Le Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Howell Sugarland Road

Houston, Texas – An elderly woman was killed Wednesday evening in a hit-and-run accident in Houston, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident happened on March 20, in the 6400 block of Howell Sugarland Road.

Deputies said Me Thi Le, 75, was crossing the northbound lanes east to west when he was struck by a vehicle and then run over by a second vehicle. Both vehicles fled the scene after the accident.

Le was pronounced dead at the scene.

One of the vehicles was described as a white Ford while the second vehicle was described as a new black model Cadillac Escalade.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
