1 Killed, 3 Injured in 9-Vehicle Crash on I-10 in Jefferson County

One Killed and Three Injured in Jefferson County Nine-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10

Jefferson County, Texas (April 16, 2023) – One person was killed, and three others were injured Saturday evening in a nine-vehicle crash in Jefferson County, west of Beaumont, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 5:45 p.m., April 15, on Interstate 10.

DPS said nine vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, were involved in the crash.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Three other people were taken to hospitals in serious condition.

The crash closed the interstate for several hours.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
