One Killed and Three Injured in SE Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on US 183 near East William Cannon

Austin, Texas – One person was killed and three others were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Southeast Austin, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened just before 7:00 a.m., on US Highway 183 near East William Cannon.

Officials said two vehicles were involved in the collision.

One person was killed in the crash. Another person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. 

Two other people were pinned in the wreckage and had to be extricated. Both victims were taken to a hospital, one by STAR Flight and the other by ambulance.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
