One Killed and Five Injured in Madisonville Plane Crash at Madisonville Municipal Airport

Madisonville, Texas (June 14, 2021) – According to the authorities, one person was killed, and five others were injured early Monday morning in a plane crash in Madisonville.

The fatal crash happened around 1:00 a.m. at the Madisonville Municipal Airport.

Authorities said the single-engine plane crashed after it landed short of the runway.

One person was trapped in the plane and was freed around 5:30 a.m.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Five people were airlifted to local hospitals in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
