Woman Hit by Truck, Seriously Injured on Zarzamora Street in San Antonio

Woman Seriously Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at South Zarzamora Street and Vickers Avenue

San Antonio, Texas – A woman was seriously injured Tuesday night in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio’s Southwest Side, according to the police.

The accident happened around 10:00 p.m., February 13, at the intersection of South Zarzamora Street and Vickers Avenue, near Somerset Road.

Police said the woman ran out into the street and was struck by a passing pickup truck.

The woman was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

The truck driver was assessed for the possibility of a DWI.

An investigation into the crash.
