One Killed and One Injured in Amarillo Motorcycle Crash at Southwest 41st and Washington Street

Amarillo, Texas (August 11, 2023) – One person was killed, and another was injured Thursday evening in a motorcycle crash in Amarillo, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 9:18 p.m., August 10, in the area of Southwest 41st and Washington Street.

Police said a motorcycle and an SUV were involved in the crash.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released. Another person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash closed all lanes of Washington Street.

The police are investigating the crash.
