One Killed in Allen Tractor-Trailer Accident on U.S. 75

Allen, Texas (September 15, 2022) – One person was killed Wednesday morning in a tractor-trailer accident in Allen, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 11:34 a.m., September 14, in the 700 block of southbound U.S. 75 Central Expressway.

Police said a tractor-trailer was traveling southbound on the highway when it collided with another vehicle.

After the collision, the trailer drove over the right safety barrier, slid to a stop, and stopped from the overpass at West Bethany Drive.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.
