One Killed in Salado Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

Salado, Texas (April 22, 2021) – According to a local news source, one person was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Salado.

The fatal crash happened around 5:00 a.m., April 21, on Interstate 35 at 282 Southbound.

According to the report, the crash involved a passenger vehicle and a dump truck.

The impact ejected the passenger vehicle driver, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The crash closed the southbound lanes of I-35, and traffic was diverted at 

Exit 283.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
