Student Injured in Mansfield Pedestrian Accident near Lake Ridge High School

Mansfield, Texas (September 7, 2019) – A 14-year-old student was injured in a pedestrian accident Friday afternoon in Mansfield, a local news source reported.

The accident occurred on Friday, September 6, outside Lake Ridge High School.

Police said the boy was trying to walk across a street near the school, but outside the school zone, when he was hit by a vehicle.

The victim was airlifted to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth in unknown condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
