Two Injured in Shallowater Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 1294 and Highway 84

Shallowater, Texas (December 7, 2021) – Two people were injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash near Shallowater, according to the DPS.

The crash happened just after 8:00 a.m., December 6, at the intersection of Farm to Market Road 1294 and Highway 84.

DPS said a car was traveling southeast on Highway 84 while a pickup truck was traveling westbound on FM 1294. The truck driver failed to yield at the intersection and pulled out in front of the car, resulting in a collision.

Both drivers were taken to University Medical Center with major injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
