Woman Killed, Man Injured in Hit-and-Run on Highway 90 in San Antonio

San Antonio, Texas – A woman was killed and a man was injured early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 2:00 a.m., on Highway 90 near General McMullen.

Police said a motorcycle, carrying a man and woman, was sideswiped by a vehicle, ejecting both of them onto the highway. The woman, who was riding on the back of the motorcycle, was not wearing a helmet and suffered severe head trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the accident. They will face one charge of Failure to Stop and Render Aid-Death.

The crash remains under investigation.
