2 Injured in Crash Involving Dallas Fire-Rescue Vehicle on South Peachtree Road in Balch Springs

Two Hospitalized after Balch Springs Crash Involving Dallas Fire-Rescue Truck on South Peachtree Road

Balch Springs, Texas (February 12, 2020) – Two people were injured Tuesday evening in a traffic accident involving a Dallas Fire-Rescue truck in Balch Springs, according to the authorities.

The crash happened shortly before 5:00 p.m. February 11, at 1633 South Peachtree Road.

Officials said a Dallas Fire-Rescue truck was exiting the Pierce Manufacturing Company after having warranty work done when it was hit by a pickup truck.

Two people in the pickup had to be extricated from the vehicle. They were both taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The firefighter who was in Truck 43 was uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
