2 Injured in Crash on Woodrow Road in Lubbock

Two Hospitalized After Lubbock Crash on Woodrow Road and County Road 1800

 Lubbock, Texas (January 18, 2023) – Two people were injured in a traffic crash on Friday morning in Lubbock, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash was reported at around 10:54 a.m. Friday, January 13, in the 5700 block of Woodrow Road and County Road 1800.

DPS said a vehicle was stopped on County Road 1800, waiting for traffic on Woodrow Road, when a jeep went around them and entered the intersection.

The Jeep reportedly collided with a van on Woodrow Road. The driver of the van lost control and hit a pedestrian. The Jeep then hit a truck that was pulling a trailer.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and another person sustained moderate injuries. Both patients were transported to University Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation.
