2 Injured in Semi-Truck Crash on U.S. 287 near Bellevue

Two Injured in Bellevue Semi-Truck Crash on U.S. 287 at FM 1288

Bellevue, Texas (August 26, 2021) – Two people were injured on Wednesday in a semi-truck crash in Clay County near Bellevue, according to the DPS.

The crash happened on August 25, on U.S. 287 at FM 1288.

DPS said a semi-truck was trying to turn onto FM 1288 and was struck by another semi-truck.

Speed might have been a factor in the crash.

One of the drivers was taken to Nocona with minor injuries, while the other driver was airlifted to United Regional with non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
