2 Killed in Head-On Crash on Highway 249 in NW Harris County

Two Killed in NW Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 249 at Breen

Harris County, Texas – Two people were killed Thursday morning in a head-on collision in northwest Harris County, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 8:02 a.m., in the 11500 block of Highway 249 and Breen.

Deputies said two vehicles, including a rideshare vehicle, were involved in a head-on collision.

The rideshare driver with a passenger were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

A man and a woman in the other vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released.

Speed was a likely factor in the crash.

The crash closed both directions of the highway,

The crash remains under investigation.
