2 Killed in Hit-and-Run on Homestead Road in Houston

Man and Woman Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Homestead Road

Houston, Texas (June 13, 2022) – Two people were killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 10:10 p.m., June 11, in the 11000 block of Homestead Road.

Police said a red Chevrolet Corvette and a black GMC pickup truck were racing at high rates of speed when the Corvette struck the pickup truck. The impact caused the pickup truck to leave the roadway and hit multiple trees.

The pickup truck driver, a 34-year-old man, and his passenger, a 32-year-old woman, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been released.

The Corvette driver did not stop and parked at a nearby residence. The owner of the Corvette was interviewed.
