2 Killed in Rear-End Crash on Mountain Creek Parkway in Mountain Creek

Two Men Killed in Mountain Creek Two-Vehicle Crash on Mountain Creek Parkway

Mountain Creek, Texas (August 13, 2020) – Two men were killed in a rear-end collision early Thursday morning in the Mountain Creek area, according to police.

The fatal crash happened at about 1:00 a.m. in the 3300 block of Mountain Creek Parkway.

Police said a vehicle was speeding when it rear-ended another vehicle on the parkway.

Two men in the vehicle that was rear-ended were killed in the crash. Their identities have not been released.

One of the women in the speeding vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the other was being questioned by police.

The crash closed the bridge over Mountain Creek Lake, but it was later reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
