Two Killed and 1 Critically Injured in Texas City Motorcycle Accident on Highway 3 near Mentor Drive
Texas City, Texas (May 11, 2019) – Two people were killed, and one other was critically injured in a motorcycle accident Thursday night in Texas City, a local news source reported.
The fatal crash happened at about 8:00 p.m. May 9, on Highway 3 near Mentor Drive.
Police said a motorcycle and another vehicle collided for unknown reasons on the highway.
One person was declared dead at the scene. A woman in the vehicle was taken to Mainland Medical Center where she later died.
A third person was taken to the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospital in Galveston in critical condition.
A child was treated and released at the scene.
The police are investigating the crash.
