Two Critically Injured in Houston Pedestrian Accident on East Freeway near Holland Avenue

Houston, Texas (January 22, 2020) – Two pedestrians were hit by a car as they were stopped to assist a stalled vehicle Tuesday night in Houston, according to the police.

The accident occurred just before midnight, January 21, on the East Freeway near Holland Avenue.

Police said a wrecker stopped to assist a stalled vehicle that was in the main lanes of the freeway. As the wrecker was trying to hook up the stalled vehicle, another vehicle stopped to assist.

A fourth vehicle didn’t see the stopped vehicles and hit two of the pedestrians.

The victims were taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
