Two Hospitalized after Plano Multi-Vehicle Crash on Dallas North Tollway near Windhaven Parkway
Plano, Texas (March 22, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized after a four-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Plano, according to the officials.
The crash occurred at about 11:00 p.m. March 20, on the Dallas North Tollway near Windhaven Parkway.
DPS said a Ford Mustang was heading northbound on the tollway when it collided for unknown reasons with a northbound BMW sedan. The impact caused the Ford to spin and hit two other cars.
The driver and the passenger of the BMW were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Mustang driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
The occupants in the other cars sustained minor injuries.
Dallas North Tollway was closed at Windhaven Parkway following the crash. The lanes have since been reopened.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
