24-Year-Old Man Killed in Car Crash on I-635 in Grapevine

24-Year-Old Fort Worth Man Killed in Grapevine Semi-Truck Crash on Interstate 635

Grapevine, Texas (September 3, 2021) – A 24-year-old Fort Worth man was killed Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash in Grapevine, according to the Grapevine police.

The fatal crash happened around 10:15 p.m., September 2, on westbound Interstate 635 at N State Highway 121.

Police said a 4-door sedan rear-ended a semi-trailer on the interstate.

The sedan was partially under the rear of the trailer after the collision.

The sedan driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as a 24-year-old Fort Worth man.

The driver of the truck was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed the interstate for almost three hours, and traffic was diverted northbound on SH 121.

The police are investigating the crash.
