3 Injured in South Austin Crash on Bluff Springs Road

Austin, Texas (August 26, 2019) – Three people were injured Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident involving two vehicles in South Austin, officials said.

The crash happened in the 7800 block of Bluff Springs Road Sunday, August 25.

According to the authorities, two vehicles collided on Bluff Springs Road for an unknown reason.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated two people who were trapped inside their vehicles.

A total of three people, including the freed victims, were injured in the crash. One of the victims, a woman in her 30s, was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.

One person attempted to flee the scene but was arrested by the police.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
