Three Injured in Anderson County Three-Vehicle Crash on US 79
Anderson County, Texas (June 9, 2023) – Three people were injured Wednesday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Anderson County, according to the Texas DPS.
The crash happened on June 7, on US 79.
DPS said a GMC SUV was traveling southbound on the highway when it traveled into the northbound lane and crashed into the side of a van. The SUV then crashed head-on into a Cadillac.
The SUV driver and the Cadillac driver were airlifted to a Tyler hospital for treatment.
The passenger in the Cadillac was taken to a local hospital in Palestine for treatment.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
