Four Injured in Kaufman County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 243 and FM 2727

Kaufman County, Texas (March 20, 2021) – According to authorities, four people were injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Kaufman County.

The crash happened just after 5:35 p.m., March 29, in the area of Highway 243 and FM 2727.

According to a preliminary investigation, a Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Highway 243 when it turned in front of a westbound Kia, resulting in a collision.

The Camry driver was treated and released at the scene.

Three people in the Kia were airlifted to the hospital in unknown conditions.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
