48-Year-Old Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run on I-20 in Lubbock

48-Year-Old Woman Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 20

Lubbock, Texas – A 48-year-old woman was injured Tuesday evening in a hit-and-run accident in Lubbock, according to the police.

The crash happened around 6:13 p.m., February 13, in the 3300 block of East Interstate 20 South Service Road.

Police said the woman was pushing a motorcycle westbound when she was struck by a westbound red Kenworth semi-truck pulling a sand trailer.

The semi-truck fled the scene after the accident.

The woman was transported to UMC Lubbock in stable condition.

An investigation is underway.
