5 Injured in Tuscola Car Crash on Highway 83/84 near County Road 150
Tuscola, Texas (March 8, 2019) – Five people were injured Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash in Tuscola, according to a local news source.
The accident was reported just before 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7 at the intersection of Highway 83/84 and County Road 150 and involved two vehicles.
Authorities said a silver SUV merged on to Highway 83/84 from a driveway and was rear-ended by a maroon pickup.  The SUV overturned while the pickup sustained heavy damage upon the impact.
Two occupants of the SUV sustained major injuries. One victim was airlifted to Hendrick Medical Center while the other was taken by ground ambulance.
An adult and two children in the pickup suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.
No other details were immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
