Five Injured in Austin 26-Vehicle Crash on SH 45 and FM 620 

Austin, Texas (February 12, 2021) – Five people were injured on Thursday in a multi-vehicle crash in Austin, according to the authorities.

The crash occurred on February 11, on an overpass between SH 45 and FM 620.

Authorities said 26 vehicles were involved in the collision.

Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment. One of the victims was declared a trauma alert. The other four victims had non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said icy road conditions were a factor in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
