Five Injured, Two Hospitalized after Atascocita Crash near Timber Forest Drive on Thursday afternoon
Atascocita, Texas (November 18, 2022) – Five people Two people were sent to a hospital following a fiery traffic collision in Atascocita on Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.
The crash happened at around 1:15 p.m. Thursday, November 17 near Timber Forest Drive.
Authorities said a van and SUV collided near Timber Forest Drive. Both vehicles caught fire upon the impact.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extinguish the fire. Three people inside the vehicles were able to exit the cars before the fire inside the cars were able to escape before the fire overtook both cars.
A total of five people were evaluated at the scene by paramedics. Two patients were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
