55-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Airline Drive

Houston, Texas (November 22, 2023) – The 55-year-old man who was critically injured on Saturday in a pedestrian accident in Houston has died, according to the police.

The man died on Monday evening, November 20.

The accident happened around 7:30 p.m., November 18, in the 2800 block of Airline Drive.

Police said the man was crossing the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a northbound blue Mazda B3000. He was taken to Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead on November 20. His name has not been released.

The Mazda driver, a 27-year-old man, did not show signs of impairment and was questioned and released.

The police are investigating the crash.
