At Least One Killed in Rusk County Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 322 at CR 240

Rusk County, Texas (June 30, 2023) – At least one person was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Rusk County, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened around 5:45 a.m., June 29, at the intersection of SH 322 and CR 240, just south of Lake Cherokee, between Henderson and Longview.

Officials said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

At least one person was killed in the crash.

A helicopter was called to the scene to airlift patients to area medical centers.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
