Man Killed in Austin Pedestrian Crash on Cross Park Drive near Cameron Road

Austin, Texas (July 28, 2019) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday morning in northeast Austin, according to the authorities.

The incident took place in the 8700 block of Cross Park Drive near Cameron Road at about 2:39 a.m.

Authorities said an adult male was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene after the incident.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Austin Police Department is investigating the incident.
