2 Killed in Mesquite Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 635 near Highway 80

Mesquite, Texas (November 1, 2019) – Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash early Wednesday morning in Mesquite, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 1:30 a.m. October 30, in the northbound lanes of I-635 near Highway 80.

Police said a 1998 Honda Civic was heading the wrong way when it hit a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe head-on.

Both drivers were declared dead at the scene. The victims’ identities have not been disclosed.

The crash remains under investigation.
