Deputy, Suspect and 2 Others Injured in Police Chase Crash in Houston

Four Injured in Southeast Houston Police Chase Crash

Houston, Texas (September 9, 2019) – Four people were injured in a police chase crash Sunday night in southeast Houston, a local news source reported.

The crash took place on Sunday, September 8.

According to the Pasadena police, an HPD officer was working an extra job when he was notified an intoxicated female who was trying to get in her truck and drive away. The officer followed the suspected in his personal vehicle and radioed in for HPD officers to respond.

The HPD caught up to the officer and initiated a pursuit. They began chasing the suspect in southeast Houston, all the way to Pasadena.

The suspect then collided with another vehicle. A Harris County Precinct 8 Constable Deputy also crashed.

The deputy, the suspect and two other people were taken to the hospital for treatment.

An investigation is underway.
