Anthony Deleon ID’d as Driver Injured in Lubbock Crash on South Loop 289
Lubbock, Texas (November 3, 2022) – The driver who was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Wednesday evening in Lubbock has been identified as Anthony Deleon, 30.
The wreck took place at about 7:31 p.m. Wednesday, November 2 in the 4900 block of South Loop 289.
Authorities said Deleon was driving his pickup truck westbound on the access road when he rear-ended a box truck that was parked on the side of the road.
Deleon sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken to University Medical Center.
Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
