7 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 183 in Mustang Ridge

Two Children Among Seven Injured in Mustang Ridge Crash on U.S. 183 at Evelyn Road

Mustang Ridge, Texas (January 16, 2023) – Seven people, including two children, were injured in a two-vehicle crash near Mustang Ridge on Monday afternoon, according to a local news source.

The crash happened at about 1: 20 p.m. on U.S. 183 near the intersection of Evelyn Road.

As per the report, two vehicles were involved in the crash.

Three people were trapped inside their vehicles and had to be extricated by firefighters. Two of them were unconscious.

One adult victim was transported to Ascension Seton Hays Hospital and one child was taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center, both with critical, life-threatening injuries. Two other adults were taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with serious injuries.

A fourth adult was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious injuries, while a fifth adult and second child were taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center with serious injuries.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
