An arrest warrant has been released for Velasquez for charges of Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury, which is a 3rd-degree felony.
The authorities are still looking for Velasquez.
The police are investigating the crash.
Most motorcycle crashes are caused by negligent drivers who don’t keep a proper lookout or fail to yield the right-of-way. Because motorcyclists are vulnerable, their injuries are usually severe, often suffering from road rash, broken bones, brain injuries, amputations, or spinal cord injuries.
