Three Injured in NW Houston METRO Bus Crash at West 20th Street and Durham Drive

Houston, Texas (December 17, 2021) – Three people were injured Thursday afternoon in a METRO bus crash in northwest Houston, according to officials.

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m., December 16, at the intersection of West 20th Street and Durham Drive.

Officials said a van ran a red light at the intersection and collided with a METRO bus.

The force of the impact pushed the bus onto the sidewalk and into a vending machine that was propped up against the building.

The bus driver and two passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

We wish the injured victims quick recoveries.
