One Killed and One Injured in Bowie County Two-Vehicle Crash at I-49 and Highway 71

Bowie County, Texas (September 10, 2022) – One person was killed, and another was injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Bowie County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on September 9, at the entranceway to I-49 and Highway 71, north of Texarkana.

DPS said two pickup trucks were involved in the crash.

One person was killed in the crash.

Another person sustained injuries in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
